👋 Good Morning! It’s rumored that the iconic Nuggets city edition uniforms from the bubble season will be returning next year. A black base with the rainbow skyline, this iteration of the classic Nuggets theme was arguably the coolest uniform that the team has ever worn. I know the NBA has been big on doing something new every year so they can sell more merchandise. Honestly, though, the rainbow skyline and Mile High City jerseys are the perfect alternates. Let’s hope the rumors are true and that we’ll get to see Jokić and Murray in those sweet threads once again. — Justin Michael

2024 was only the beginning for the Denver Broncos

The Broncos have their swagger back. Gone are the days of being an AFC West bottom dweller. Gone are the days of simply hoping to sneak back into the playoffs. As Stringer Bell so eloquently said, “I want you to put the word out that we back up.”

Unlike during some of the dark days, Denver is an organization where good players want to be. And with the roster that’s been constructed over the last two years, the Broncos are legitimately contenders going into 2025. They have a great chance to win the division again for the first time since the Manning era, too.

One of the key pieces expected to help Denver continue its ascension is defensive tackle D.J. Jones who signed a three-year contract extension over the offseason. He wasn’t always sure if he’d get the chance to stick around, but coming off of last year’s playoff appearance, the veteran DT knew there was a chance for something even more special with this team in 2025 and beyond.

“I’ve been in a lot of locker rooms, had opportunities to be around a lot of guys, great guys, great teammates,” Jones said. “This is one of the more tight-knit locker rooms I’ve been around.”

It’s clear how much things have changed for the better in the Sean Payton era. I can’t wait for fall.
