👋 Good Morning!

With the Broncos headed to Indianapolis this weekend, I can’t help but feel a little bit nervous.

I’m not overreacting based on Week 1 results because we all know that weird stuff happens at the beginning of the season. And I’m not even very worried about the matchup. That building has just been a house of horrors for Denver over the years.

The Broncos are 2-8 in road games against the Colts in the 21st century. A win on Sunday would be the first in Indi since 2017 and only the second one over the last 15 years.

2025 Rockies are just another shameful chapter in the Monfort era

(Imagn)

We should get a special banner made for the 2025 Colorado Rockies.

With 18 games still left in the regular season, after Monday’s loss to the Dodgers the Rox are officially the worst team in franchise history. Currently sitting at 40-104, they’re well on their way to losing 115+ games. It’s almost deserving of a parade it’s so absurd.

The Rockies have never been a playoff staple and I get that. What we’ve seen over the last five years has largely been unwatchable though. It’s been impressively shameful and I hope that keeps Dick Monfort up at night.

I truly love baseball. There are a lot of things that need to be fixed with the whole travel ball circuit and the way it’s made what should be an affordable sport into an outrageously expensive endeavor for families. But the sport itself is a beautiful game.

Coors Field was my favorite place on earth as a kid. And it’s obviously always going to be a phenomenal venue. The fans just deserve so much more. It’s yet another sad chapter in what’s become a never-ending nightmare for the fans.

Have some shame for once, Dick. Sell the team.

Sean Payton previously said that he wouldn’t be disclosing injury information but he’s apparently changing his tune.

I know it seems like the season just ended but hockey season is right around the corner. It’s time to start getting prepared.

Does anybody actually know what a catch is?
