👋 Good Morning!
Is there a better time of year weather wise than right now? It doesn’t last long in Colorado but early to mid October, with the leaves changing, nothing tops it.
Have a great weekend.

3 potential trap games for the Denver Broncos

(Imagn)
The NFL is wide open this season in a way that we haven’t seen for a while. That’s a good thing for the Denver Broncos.
Teams like Philadelphia and Buffalo are still tough, but they’re beatable. Kansas City, Baltimore, Los Angeles, they’re beatable, too. There’s no real juggernaut in the league this fall. And for a team like Denver, who has the pieces on both sides of the ball to make things interesting against anyone, that’s an intriguing scenario.
Looking at the schedule, the path to a double-digit win season is there. At the risk of looking like a fool down the line, I don’t think hoping for 12 wins is all that crazy.
That scenario would likely mean that the Broncos had a lot of success within the division, which is never a guarantee. But aside from trips to KC and Washington DC, the road games are manageable. I also like that Denver ends the year with three of four at home.
If the Broncos were to get to 12 wins, it would certainly mean that they took care of business in the games they’re more heavily favored. So here are the three potential trap games remaining on the schedule.
New York Jets (Oct. 12) | I feel good about Sunday but games overseas are always wacky.
Las Vegas Raiders (Nov. 6) | The next five games are very much winnable but the last in that stretch is a Thursday night game against the Raiders. It’s possible the Broncos will be running on fumes. You would have thought that Denver would get an earlier bye week with a London game on the slate.
Jacksonville Jaguars (Dec. 21) | They don’t play the prettiest brand of football but the Jags might be for real. Plus, four days before Christmas and one week before a trip to Arrowhead feels like a situation where the team could be looking ahead.
Come to the DNVR Bar
Looking for a place to watch the game on Sunday? Come on down to the DNVR Bar this weekend for our epic watch party!
The food is awesome, the service is tremendous, it’s a great local spot right in the heart of Denver. Come support local business and start your day with a bang.

The Avs are 2-0 and they haven’t even scratched the surface of what they can be this season.
