👋 Good Morning!
I try to take the high road and be a good sport when it comes to the outcomes of games. Nobody likes a sore loser. I’m not going to lie to you guys though. Despite how much talent they have on the roster, I can’t stand the Oklahoma City Thunder.
There’s nothing I like about that team. I hate the way ‘SGA’ plays and think it’s embarrassing the way NBA voters crowned him MVP over the best player in the world. They hack the hell out of everyone defensively and for for whatever reason it’s allowed.
I can recognize that OKC had one of the all-time great seasons but their brand of basketball just isn’t fun. Also… bring back the Sonics. Yet another reason to be annoyed about the Thunder. I hope Victor Wembanyama dunks on them for a decade. (Sorry for the rant. Hope you had a good weekend.)

Alex Singleton thinks the 2025 Broncos can be special: “Let’s be better than the 2015 defense”

(Imagn)
Alex Singleton thinks the 2025 Broncos have a chance to be special defensively. It’s why he’s setting the bar so high going into the year.
In an exclusive interview with DNVR, the Broncos team captain talked about the standard that’s been established over the years.
From the days of the Orange Crush to the No Fly Zone, from Champ Bailey to Von Miller, from Randy Gradishar to Steve Atwater, and everyone in-between, Broncos Country has been privileged to see some true legends suit up in the Mile High City over the years. And Singleton is hoping that with the unit the front office has put together, this 2025 group can be in that same conversation.
“It’s one of those things where it’s like, ‘let’s be better than the 2015 defense.’ Stuff where like, that’s what we need to chase. You have to chase it when we start practice here in a few weeks in OTAs and go get it then. We have to be the best every single day to get to where we want to go.”
The Broncos have had their struggles offensively since winning Super Bowl 50. Defense has rarely been the issue though. What’s exciting about 2025 is the fact that for the first time since the early portion of the Manning era, it feels like there is a chance for Denver to be elite on both sides of the ball.

The Nuggets have named Ben Tenzer as the executive Vice President of basketball operations and hired Jon Wallace to be the franchise’s executive vice president of player personnel. Per Shams Charania, the two will be the heads of the newly restructured basketball leadership group.

The Rockies dropped two of three to the Diamondbacks over the weekend. The Rox will begin another three-game series against the Dodgers at home on Tuesday night before heading to Milwaukee for a weekend matchup with the Brew Crew.

Maybe the Rockies can avoid making history
With their win today the #Rockies have now won as many games (9) in the month of June as they did in March, April, and May combined.
