👋 Good Morning!
Did you see that Gabe Landeskog scored his first regular season goal since March 5, 2022?
That’s my captain. 🫡

Believe in Bo

(Imagn)
Bo Nix is a franchise quarterback. He has an opportunity to prove it against the Chiefs on Sunday.
In a matchup that has the potential to drastically shift the AFC West race one way or the other, this is the biggest home game of Nix’s young career. And regardless of whatever style points Nix has potentially lost with some of his sophomore struggles, if he wins this game it gives the Broncos a really good shot to secure a top 2 seed in the conference.
Nix needs to play better. His feet are a mess right now and he doesn’t always trust the pocket. His issues are correctable though. What isn’t necessarily coachable is the ability to deliver in the clutch, which he’s done over and over again in his young career.
We’re so quick to give up on quarterbacks, but growth isn’t usually a linear process. The irony is we have so many examples of this and just continue to repeat the same mistakes. Just look at Baker Mayfield, Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold, etc.
Keep some faith in the kid.

The Avs have won six of seven, including four straight games. Now 20% through the regular season, Colorado still has just one regulation loss on the year.
Last night was fairly comfortable against Anaheim in the 4-1 victory. Nathan MacKinnon led the way with a 3-point night. And Scott Wedgewood was solid between the pipes once again with a 35-save game.

I want to fight the NBA schedule makers for a 9:00 p.m. tip-off in Sacramento. Fortunately the Nuggets made it worth staying up for with a 122-108 road win.
Nikola Jokić never ceases to amaze me. Just another casual 35-15-7 stat line on 16-of-19 from the floor. He’s the best in the world and it’s not even close.
