The reports coming out of Broncos training camp have been positive. Both sides of the ball have had moments where they’ve flexed their strengths. And there seems to be a real energy out there every day.

There’s a lot of great coverage in town and I consume quite a bit of it. As many of you know, though, the DNVR Broncos crew have been killing it this summer. Every day they’re giving you live coverage from the facility, written content, the podcast and more. Make sure you’re keeping up with everything they are putting out.

The Broncos, Buffs and Rams all finished above .500 and made the postseason last year for the first time since 2005.

If my eyes are not deceiving me and I’ve correctly gone through the history books, the three teams have only ever finished above. 500 in consecutive seasons one time (1976 & 1977).

Going into the 2025 campaign, there’s optimism on all fronts, so there’s a chance we could see the big three football teams in the state do something we haven’t seen in close to 50 years.

There has never been a season in which the Broncos won their division while the college teams also won their respective leagues. Obviously it’s a long shot but it would be pretty crazy to see something like that happen. I think most would settle for a trio of postseason bids though.
