It was pretty much a perfect sports weekend. The local teams rolled and the college football action on Friday / Saturday was great.

Denver Broncos are in the driver’s seat in the AFC West for the first time in years

The Denver Broncos are winners of 10 straight games and heavy favorites to win the AFC West for the first time since 2015.
With the Chiefs losing at home to the Texans on Sunday Night Football, Kansas City is now out of the running for the division crown. And with just four games remaining in the regular season after this week, the Chargers will be trailing by a minimum of two games, three if they fall to the Eagles on Monday Night Football.
With the Broncos now sitting at 11-2 and in sole possession of the 1-seed after securing the common opponent tiebreaker against the Patriots, these next couple of weeks are setting up to be pretty dang exciting. Sunday’s win over the Raiders might not have been flashy, but that was a masterclass in ball control and the type of football that translates in the playoffs.
Also… how about that performance from RJ Harvey? If that’s how he’s going to look down the stretch, this team has a legit shot to win the Super Bowl.
Buckle up and don’t forget to enjoy the ride. It’s been a long time since we’ve been in this position.

The Nuggets have now won 10 straight road games after taking down the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday (115-106). Plus, Jamal Murray continues to build a strong case to be an All-Star. The veteran guard had 34 points and five assists in the win.

Browns QB Shedeur Sanders became just the second rookie in NFL history to throw for 350+ yards, 3+ passing touchdowns, plus a rushing score. What the hell was Kevin Stefanski thinking on that 2-point call though?
