👋 Good Morning!
The NFL season has been wild.
The following playoff teams from the AFC in 2024-25 currently have losing records: Broncos (1-2), Chiefs (1-2), Ravens (1-2), Texans (0-3).
I’m not so sure about Houston but I feel pretty confident the other three are good teams. Sunday was frustrating. Don’t throw in the towel just yet though.

Dre Greenlaw signing was a gamble — will the bet hit?

Right now the Dre Greenlaw signing feels a little disastrous. Inside linebacker has been the weak link on Denver’s defense and with him being placed on short-term IR ahead of the Chargers game, we won’t see the veteran until at least Week 7.
I’m still holding onto hope for Greenlaw to be an impactful addition down the stretch. He’s such a talented player when he’s on the field. But considering he’s already experienced multiple setbacks in the recovery process, it’s fair to be skeptical of that vision actually coming to fruition. We’ll just have to see.
In the meantime, it’d be nice to see LeVelle Bailey get a chance at some point. The former Fresno State star had a great camp, and in my opinion he could make a difference in the middle of the field.
Bailey was mostly on special teams in the 10 games he played in as a rookie last season. For those that weren’t up late on Saturday nights watching Mountain West football, though, Bailey was a do-it-all kinda guy in his collegiate career.
LeVelle Bailey college stats
242 total tackles | 24.5 TFL | 7 sacks | 6 INT | 4 FF

The Smartest Show in Broncos Country
Dave Logan and Bennie Fowler have teamed up for an awesome new show. You’re not going to want to miss what these former NFL receivers have to say each week.

Colorado State has named Jackson Brousseau the starting quarterback for Saturday’s matchup with Washington State. The redshirt sophomore led the offense to back-to-back scoring drives in the fourth quarter after relieving Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi.

I was critical of Bo Nix’s missed throws on Sunday. His coach and teammates have his back, which is how it should be.
