I’m already nervous for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. It’s been so long since the Broncos have had a real shot at winning the division, I almost forgot how stressful this whole process can be.

The Colorado Avalanche are fun as hell right now.
Currently 12-1-5 through the first 18 games, the Avs have just one regulation loss through nearly the first quarter of the regular season. What’s crazier is they have a league-leading goal differential of +28, which is twice as good as the next best team in the NHL. It’s been a very strong start to the year for a team that had lofty expectations coming in.
If you’re not traditionally a hockey fan, this team is the perfect group to get you into the sport. On any given night you might just see a couple of the best players in the world do something that leaves you speechless. But there’s also a ton of fun glue guys on the roster who win you over with their heart and hustle.
With last night’s 6-3 win over Buffalo, the winning streak is up to five games. Looking forward the schedule is pretty favorable too. The Avs are a wagon.
