👋 Good Morning! I was fortunate to get a little time away after a long stretch covering CSU Football, CSU hoops and the NHL Playoffs. While I don’t want to give away all of my favorite secret spots in the state, I do have a couple of recommendations for Colorado-based products for you to check out this summer.
First things first, if you’re into hard cider, Snow Capped is by far the best I’ve ever had. They’re based on the Western Slope and have an awesome little tap room in Cedaredge. The sour cherry is
If you’re into good cheeses, Rocking W is based out of Olathe and makes the best pepper jack I’ve had in my life.
Support local business and enjoy your summer! Cheers.

The Broncos do right by Bo Nix, bring in a veteran running back

(Imagn)
The Broncos made a splash signing on Tuesday with the addition of veteran running back J.K. Dobbins. The 26-year-old former Raven and Charger has had an injury-impacted career to this point. But he’s coming off of his best season yet, finishing the 2024 campaign with a career-high 905 rushing yards and nine rushing touchdowns with Los Angeles.
Obviously the injury history makes the signing a bit of a gamble. But considering it’s only a one-year deal, bringing in a proven contributor like Dobbins is worth the risk, especially going into year two of Bo Nix’s career. Denver has to be able to run the ball with more consistency this year, and although there is excitement for what RJ Harvey and Audric Estime can do, adding another horse to the stable only gives your young quarterback more of a security blanket.
Sean Payton said it himself back in January: “We’re going to stack that position group.”
After finding out the team had officially signed Dobbins, Brandon Jones called the former division rival a baller.
