👋 Good Morning!
Has anyone taken a look at their yards lately? As much as I love seeing the leaves change color, there are few things that I dread as much as raking.

The legacy of Demaryius Thomas will live on forever

(Imagn)
Demaryius Thomas will be inducted into the Ring of Fame on Sunday.
As part of a celebration of his legacy, as well as a recognition of the entire Super Bowl 50 team, Thomas will be celebrated by fans, players and Broncos alumni in what is being called the largest reunion in franchise history. According to Denver’s chief communications officer Patrick Smyth, over 170 former players are expected to be in the stadium, including more than 40 of DT’s teammates.
While the weekend is sure to be emotional — it’s still surreal to think about how he’s gone — I love that so many players from the past want to be there to honor No. 88.
Thomas is my favorite football player of all-time. I was in section 535 with my cousin when he caught Peyton Manning’s 509th career touchdown pass. I was there with my dad when he torched the Cardinals for a franchise-record 226 receiving yards. And obviously his game-winning touchdown against the Steelers in the playoffs is one of my favorite moments in Broncos history.
I’ll never forget how sick it made me feel seeing DT run out of the opposing team’s field entrance in 2018. I understood why the Broncos sent him to the Texans at the time. But I’ve never hated seeing a beloved Denver athlete in another team’s colors more.
While there are about a hundred plays I could point to, or I could talk about how unique of an athlete he was with his combination of size and speed, I think what made me adore DT so much was his infectious smile. I’m not sure anyone has ever looked happier in an NFL game.
He may be gone but he won’t be soon forgotten.
DT forever.
