WE DID IT 🎊

Thank you for helping us raise over $12,500 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America! Spirit Week has been a blast and concludes with Diehard Day on today’s shows. If you’d still like to donate to BBBS, you can contribute directly at bbbs.org/allcity!
👋 Good Morning!
I want to thank everyone who supported our fundraiser this week. While I don’t want to get too corny here, I will say that one of the things that makes me the most proud about DNVR is how much we genuinely love being a part of this community. We love living in Colorado and we love the people in this beautiful state. It’s an honor to be able to help make a difference with an incredible organization like Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
A lot of what we do is not all that serious. We pride ourselves on providing quality coverage without being afraid to have a little bit of fun along the way. This campaign was really cool though. It shows just how much all of you care as well.

The offseason clock is ticking for the Nuggets

(Imagn)
So… when are the Nuggets going to hire a general manager? We’re less than a week from the NBA Draft, Denver has been out of the mix for over a month, what’s the plan here?
I’m not trying to get everyone stirred up this early in the morning. And I don’t necessarily feel there’s a need to panic. After all, it’s highly possible we’ll see it all unfold here in the coming days.
In what’s considered a very important offseason for the future of the franchise, though, it’s definitely unsettling there is still so much uncertainty with this whole situation. The Nuggets can’t drop the ball this summer. The next stage for Nikola Jokić needs to feature more depth around him and we can’t afford to essentially punt on this summer.
Sometimes I judge myself for how much I think about these things. Thankfully all of you are just as big of sickos as I am.

Nique Clifford was the top high school recruit in the state of Colorado back in 2020. After three years at CU, the former local prep star was able to rejuvenate his basketball career at CSU.

I know that I’ve been one of the team’s loudest critics this season but it’s been a fairly entertaining week of Rockies baseball. The Rox got walked off in Washington Thursday afternoon, so they weren’t able to complete the first four-game sweep since May of 2019. But the last couple of weeks have me hoping we’ll at least get a month or two of watchable baseball.

The Avalanche have a lot of big picture questions to ponder this summer. Should the team consider moving Sam Girard? Or what about Josh Manson?

“He’s almost a clone of Tyrese Haliburton, a 6’6 point guard who can shoot it & is athletic. He’s probably a little more athletic than Tyrese.”
@franfraschilla has high praise for Nique Clifford going into the NBA Draft.
