Let’s Make A Difference Today!

Today is Big Brothers Big Sisters Day! We’ve been raising money all week for our Big and Little friends, but today is the day to SMASH RIGHT THROUGH our Spirit Week goal of $10K. Donate during your favorite show on YouTube or contribute directly at bbbs.org/allcity!

👋 Good Morning!

As you can see above, we’re raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America this week. If you have the means to donate to a truly terrific organization, it’s a great way to make a positive impact in the community.

I also implore you to consider signing up to become a big. It doesn’t take a ton of effort to positively impact someone’s life. You can make a real difference.

What if the Rockies weren’t in the NL West?

Can the Rockies move divisions?

I’ve jokingly thrown this idea out there before but I am serious that I think it would be good for the team if they could get out of the NL West. Imagine being in the NL Central or AL Central. Instead of playing the Dodgers 20 times a year, you’d get the Pirates or the Royals.

The future is bleak because of ownership and poor management. Obviously those issues aren’t solved by this hypothetical scenario. But the Rockies have never won the division and they never will so long as they are in the NL West. The gap between the ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots’ is just too significant.

I’m not saying that they’d all of a sudden be a team that contends. But it would be nice to have a more realistic path to .500 baseball most years. It’s too bad they can’t play the Nationals and Marlins more frequently. It’s actually been a pretty fun week for the Rox.

Tommy Balcetis had been in the Nuggets organization for over a decade. What does his departure mean for the future? And what type of moves could Denver make this summer? The DNVR Nuggets crew went into it all with their latest roundtable.

The Rockies are on a four-game winning streak and have as many wins in June (8) as they did in April and May combined. If they sweep a four-game series with another win over the Nationals today, it would be the team’s first since 2019.

Chase Dollander will be on the mound for Colorado. First pitch is scheduled for 11:05 a.m. MT.
