👋 Good Morning!
The rivalry might not be what it used to be, but I still despise everything about the Raiders and their fans.
From the Halloween costumes in the stands to their little ‘Raiders’ chants, they’re one of the most obnoxious fanbases that come into Mile High. Let’s hope they don’t have much to say tonight.

When will Mike Shanahan get his due?

(Imagn)
The waiting game for Mike Shanahan is likely to drag on. The fact that he isn’t already in the Pro Football Hall of Fame is a joke. With Bill Belichick eligible for induction, though, the legendary Broncos coach is unlikely to go into Canton with the 2026 class.
While I have no beef with the idea of Belichick being a first-ballot selection — he’s the greatest NFL coach of all-time — my frustration for Shanahan goes back years.
First of all, the list of coaches to win back-to-back Super Bowls is Vince Lombardi, Don Shula, Chuck Noll, Jimmy Johnson, Mike Shanahan, Bill Belichick and Andy Reid. That’s it.
He’s also top 20 in career regular season wins (170), yet multiple coaches below him have already been inducted. And for the record, Dan Reeves has a gripe there as well. How is the 10th winningest coach ever not in the Hall of Fame? The man took two different teams to four Super Bowls.
The biggest argument in favor of Shanahan might be how prevalent his influence on the game still is. His coaching tree includes at least five current head coaches in the league. His zone blocking schemes are used at all levels of football.
Shanahan is objectively one of the most influential coaches in the history of the league. He’s long overdue for his gold jacket.

Nikola Jokić should be the mayor of Miami by now. That man absolutely owns the Heat.
Denver has won 11 straight regular season games against Miami. The Nuggets have one total loss to the Heat going back to 2016.

I argued yesterday that the Broncos choosing not to make a move at the trade deadline was just fine. Here’s what our insider Henry Chisholm had to say.
