👋 Good Morning! I didn’t think I would have much of a rooting interest in the NBA Finals. Turns out that I was wrong. I’m all in on on the Indiana Pacers and this crazy run of comeback wins they’ve been on. Unlike the Thunder they’re such an easy team to embrace. And aside from all the foul baiting nonsense from OKC, I just can’t root for that organization after the way they left Seattle. Bring back the Supersonics.

Will Denver’s interest in Dobbins materialize?

(Imagn)

The Broncos had J.K. Dobbins in for a visit on Thursday but the veteran running back left Denver without a deal. Per Mike Klis, he’ll remain on the team’s radar moving forward.

“He’s just another good football player that we’ve seen firsthand. I’ve seen for awhile,” Sean Payton said of Dobbins.

While the former Raven and Charger has been impacted by injuries throughout his professional career, the 26-year-old could be worth taking a gamble on. Dobbins averaged 4.6 yards per carry for the Chargers last season, finishing with 905 yards with 195 carries and nine touchdowns. He had 96 yards and a touchdown in LA’s October win at Mile High.

Paired with RJ Harvey, Audric Estime, etc, the Broncos could have a pretty dynamic group of running backs. It’ll be interesting to see if the team’s interest in him materializes down the line.

This might be the only time we can say this all year but the Rockies are technically on a winning streak. The three-game series with the Mets begins tonight at Coors Field. There are still a few spots available for our Top Shelf Suite event on Sunday. Click here for more info.

Could Troy Franklin be in line for a breakout season? He’s turned some heads in OTA’s and looking like it could be a possibility. It was an up-and-down year in 2024 but his 43-yard touchdown in the playoffs was one of the lone bright spots in that game. It would be great to see more plays like that in 2025.
